David grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and was a standout prep athlete in cross-country running, track and field, and ice hockey. He then moved on to become a NCAA Division II Track and field athlete and left Adams State College with a Degree in Human Performance and Physical Education with a minor in Coaching. Immediately following graduation David acquired 3 Varsity head coaching positions in his home town for Cross country, track and field, and ice hockey.
While coaching David began his pro MMA career with his first fight in 2006. Since then, he has earned a Brazilian jiu-jitsu purple belt, a semi pro boxing record and focuses mainly on pro MMA.
David now resides in Las Vegas, NV as an active pro fighter for Wand Fight Team. Along with his own training David uses his knowledge he has acquired through formal education, coaching and personal experience as an elite athlete to assist others achieve their fitness and performance goals.
